Required Documents for China Visitor Visa
- Original Passport
- Passport must have at least 6 months validity and more than 2 blank visa pages. Previous passports issued within the last 5 years may also be required.
- Completed Online Visa Application Form
- The application form must be completed online, printed, and signed by the applicant.
- Recent Photograph
- One colour photograph, size 33mm × 48mm, with white background.
- Flight Booking
- Round-trip flight reservation or travel itinerary showing entry and exit from China.
- Hotel Booking / Accommodation Proof
- Confirmed hotel reservation for the stay in China.
- Day-wise Travel Itinerary
- Details of cities to be visited, travel dates, accommodation, and planned activities.
- Personal Cover Letter
- A letter explaining the purpose of visit, travel dates, places to be visited, accommodation details, and applicant’s contact details.
- Bank Statement
- Recent 6-month savings bank statement with bank stamp and signature. The Visa Centre mentions a balance requirement of at least INR 100,000, and temporary deposits may not be accepted.
- Employment / Business / Student ProofFor employees: employment letter, salary details, leave approval if available
- For business owners: business registration proof, GST/company documents if applicable
- For students: school/college letter and student ID
- Invitation Letter, if applicable
- Required if visiting family, friends, or staying with an individual in China. The invitation should include applicant details, visit details, inviting person’s address, contact number, and signature.
- Previous China Visa Copy, if applicable
- If the applicant has previously travelled to China, copies of old Chinese visas should be provided.
