Papua New Guinea Visitor Visa Requirements

Visa Type: Visitor eVisa

Application Mode: Online through Papua New Guinea ICA eVisa portal

Allowed Stay: Usually single entry for up to 60 days from the date of arrival.

Purpose: Tourism, holiday, sightseeing, visiting friends or family. PNG ICA states that the visitor visa is for individuals/groups visiting for holiday or to visit friends and family. 

Required Documents

Visa Conditions

• Travel to restricted facilities in Papua New Guinea requires permission from the Chief Migration Officer.

• The applicant must be a genuine visitor and must intend to leave Papua New Guinea at the end of the stay. 

Visa Fee

The PNG eVisa portal mentions an online lodgement fee of USD 50, if applicable, and the final payable amount will be shown in the eVisa portal before payment. 

Important Note for Indian Passport Holders

Indian nationals should apply for the Papua New Guinea eVisa before travel. India is not listed under the current Visa on Arrival eligible country list on the official ICA website.
