• Indian ordinary passport holders require a visa to visit Uzbekistan for tourism.

• India is specifically included in Uzbekistan’s official list of countries eligible to obtain an electronic visa.

• The standard tourist eVisa application is completed online through the official Uzbekistan eVisa portal.

• No physical embassy visit is required for the standard eVisa application.

• No Uzbekistan invitation letter or tourist-company visa support is required for an Indian applicant using the standard eVisa system.

• A clear electronic copy of the passport bio-data page is required.

• The passport copy uploaded to the eVisa portal must be readable. The official portal states that the electronic passport-page file must not exceed 500 KB.

• A digital facial photograph is required.

• The photograph must comply with ICAO Doc 9303 facial-image standards.

• Applicant must provide a valid email address because application activation, processing information and the approved eVisa are sent electronically.

• The eVisa application must be activated using the digital code sent to the applicant’s email address.

• Government fee must be paid electronically through the payment method provided on the official eVisa portal.

• Applicants can select Single Entry, Double Entry or Multiple Entry eVisa depending on their travel requirements. Uzbekistan’s current official fee schedule expressly provides all three options.

• Hotel booking is not listed as a mandatory upload on the official eVisa application instructions. However, travellers should have confirmed accommodation information available for their trip.

• Return flight ticket is not listed as a standard mandatory eVisa upload. Nevertheless, travellers should carry return or onward travel evidence as part of normal border-entry documentation.

• Bank statements are not listed as a mandatory Uzbekistan tourist eVisa application document.

• Income Tax Returns, Form 16 and salary slips are not listed as mandatory eVisa documents.

• Employment proof or business-registration documents are not listed as mandatory eVisa application documents for a standard tourist visit.

• Aadhaar card is not listed as a mandatory Uzbekistan eVisa document.

• Travel insurance is not listed as a mandatory tourist eVisa application document by the official eVisa portal. Comprehensive international travel medical insurance is nevertheless recommended.

• Invitation letter is not required for the standard eVisa route available to Indian passport holders.

• A vaccination certificate is not listed as a standard tourist eVisa application requirement. Travellers should check current health requirements based on their travel history and transit route.

• The approved eVisa is sent to the applicant's registered email address in PDF format.

• The traveller must present both the valid passport and the eVisa when crossing the Uzbekistan border. The official portal permits the eVisa to be presented in printed or electronic form.

• Foreign visitors must comply with Uzbekistan's temporary-stay registration rules. Current government guidance states that foreign nationals should register their place of stay within 3 working days. Hotels normally complete this registration automatically for guests.

• If staying in private accommodation rather than a hotel, the host should arrange the visitor’s temporary registration through the relevant government system or authority.

• Travellers should retain proof of their registration during their stay.

• Visa approval does not guarantee admission. Final entry remains subject to Uzbekistan border-control authorities.
