Description
Description:
Indian passport holders require a Tourist Visa before travelling to Venezuela because India is not included in Venezuela's current tourist visa-exemption list.
The Venezuela Tourist Visa (T) is intended for travellers visiting for holidays, recreation, health purposes or other temporary activities that do not involve paid employment or profit-making activity.
The visa is generally issued as a consular visa with a validity of one year and multiple entries. A tourist may normally stay for up to 90 days per visit, with a possible extension for a further period of up to 90 days at the discretion of the competent Venezuelan immigration authority.
Indian applicants should apply through the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in New Delhi. The application requires significantly more documentation than many standard tourist visas, including a bank letter, employment letter, medical certificate, return ticket and hotel reservation or invitation letter.
Disclaimer:
Government fees, visa rules, processing times, visa validity, entry requirements and document requirements may change without prior notice. Tripex is not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, immigration authority or visa processing centre and does not guarantee visa approval.
Visa approval and entry permission are solely at the discretion of the Embassy, Consulate, Venezuelan immigration authorities and border officers.
Embassy, consulate, government and visa processing fees are generally non-refundable once paid.
The Embassy of Venezuela in India does not currently publish a fixed tourist visa processing time or the exact current consular fee on its public Tourist Visa page. These two details must therefore be confirmed directly with the Consular Section before submission or payment.
Information must be verified with the embassy before submission.
