Description
Vietnam Tourist e-Visa is an online visa facility issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department for eligible travellers visiting Vietnam for tourism, leisure, family visits or short-term travel purposes. The e-Visa allows travellers to enter Vietnam through approved international airports, land borders and seaports.
The Vietnam e-Visa may be issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry visa and can be valid for up to 90 days, depending on the applicant’s travel plan and approval by the Vietnam Immigration Department.
Applicants must submit a clear passport bio page, a recent passport-size photograph and accurate travel details. All information must match the passport exactly. Incorrect details, unclear documents or mismatched travel information may delay the application or result in rejection.
Once approved, the traveller must download and print the e-Visa and carry it along with the original passport while travelling to Vietnam. Final entry permission is subject to approval by the Vietnam immigration officer at the port of entry.
Standard processing is usually handled by the Vietnam Immigration Department, but processing time may vary depending on application volume, public holidays, document clarity and additional verification requirements.
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must hold a valid passport and must not fall under any category restricted or suspended from entering Vietnam.
The applicant is fully responsible for providing correct and complete information at the time of application. Details such as full name, date of birth, passport number, nationality, date of arrival, date of exit, entry port and exit port must be accurate and must match the passport and travel plan.
The passport bio page and photograph must be clear and readable. Unclear, cropped, incorrect or invalid documents may result in delay, rejection or non-acceptance of the application.
The Vietnam e-Visa approval is issued solely at the discretion of the Vietnam Immigration Department. Submission of an application does not guarantee visa approval.
The government visa fee paid to the Vietnam Immigration Department is non-refundable once paid, including in cases where the application is refused, rejected, delayed or not used by the traveller.
The applicant must enter and exit Vietnam only through ports permitted for Vietnam e-Visa holders. Entry through an incorrect or non-permitted port may result in refusal of entry.
The traveller must travel within the validity period mentioned on the approved e-Visa. The traveller cannot enter Vietnam before the visa start date or after the visa expiry date.
The traveller must carry the printed e-Visa approval and original passport while travelling. Airlines, immigration authorities or border officers may refuse boarding or entry if the traveller fails to present the required documents.
Final permission to enter Vietnam is subject to the decision of the immigration officer at the port of entry, even if the e-Visa has been approved.
Any changes after submission, including passport details, travel dates, entry port or exit port, may require a new application or amendment depending on the rules of the Vietnam Immigration Department.
Processing time is not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to public holidays, high application volume, system issues, incorrect information, unclear documents or additional verification by immigration authorities.
The service provider only assists with the preparation and submission of the visa application based on the information and documents provided by the applicant. The service provider does not control the decision, approval time or final outcome of the visa application.
Service charges may not be refundable once the visa assistance service has been initiated, document checking has started or the application has been submitted.
Travellers are advised not to book non-refundable flight tickets, hotels or other travel arrangements until the visa is approved.
