• Visa on Arrival should not be relied upon by Indian passport holders because India is classified under the “Nationals Requiring Visa Prior to Travel” category rather than the Visa on Arrival category.
• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Zambia.
• Passport must contain at least 3 full blank pages.
• Travel must be for genuine tourism purposes
• Applicant must upload a recent passport-size photograph.

• Travellers should have sufficient funds to cover their stay and departure from Zambia. Zambia Immigration specifically refers to adequate funds for travellers arriving by land or water and immigration officers may request evidence of ability to support the visit.
• Bank statements are not specifically included in the published core Tourism eVisa upload checklist. However, they may be carried as supporting evidence of sufficient funds.
• Travel insurance is not listed by Zambia Immigration as a mandatory Tourism eVisa application document. Comprehensive travel medical insurance is nevertheless recommended.
• An invitation letter is not required where the applicant is travelling purely as a tourist and staying in commercial accommodation.
• If travelling to visit a private host rather than for standard hotel-based tourism, the applicant may fall under the Ordinary Visitor requirements. In that case, a host letter containing the host's full physical address and phone number and proof of the host's Zambian immigration status may be required.
• Persons below the age of 16 cannot submit an independent Zambia eVisa application. When travelling with an adult, they must be included in the adult's application.

• Zambia Immigration states that holders of approved eVisa letters may enter through any Zambian port of entry.
• Visa approval does not automatically guarantee admission. Final entry remains subject to examination by the Zambia Immigration Officer at the port of entry.

Description
Description:
Indian passport holders require advance visa approval before travelling to Zambia for tourism. India is specifically classified by the Zambia Department of Immigration as a nationality requiring a visa prior to travel.
Indian tourists should therefore apply through the official Zambia eServices portal and obtain an approval letter before departure. The Zambia eVisa process allows applicants to submit the application and supporting documents electronically.
A standard Single Entry Visa permits one entry during its validity period. Zambia states that Single, Double and Multiple Entry visas are valid for 90 days from issuance. Tourists may be allowed to stay in Zambia for a total of up to 90 days within any 12-month period, although Immigration may initially grant a shorter period that must later be extended.
Disclaimer:
Government fees, visa rules, processing times, and document requirements may change without prior notice. Tripex is not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, or visa processing centre and does not guarantee visa approval. Visa approval and entry permission are solely at the discretion of the respective embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or border officer. Embassy, consulate, government, and visa centre fees are generally non-refundable once paid.
The Zambia Department of Immigration website currently displays conflicting Single Entry visa fee information on different official pages. Applicants should therefore verify the final payable amount on the Zambia eServices portal before payment.
