Apply for Liechtenstein Schengen Tourist Visa with Tripex
• Indian ordinary passport holders require a Schengen visa to visit Liechtenstein for tourism.
• Liechtenstein is part of the Schengen Area.
• For applications lodged in India, Austria represents Liechtenstein in New Delhi.
• Applications should therefore be processed using the Austrian Embassy / VFS Austria India route when Liechtenstein is the correct main destination.
• Applicant must submit a completed and signed Schengen Visa Application Form.
• Supporting documents must establish:
Purpose of travel
Accommodation
Transport
Financial capacity
Occupation/status in India
Intention to leave the Schengen Area after the visit.
• The Embassy may request additional documents or call the applicant for an interview
Passport Requirements
Mandatory:
• Original Indian passport
• Passport issued within the previous 10 years
• Passport valid for at least 3 months after the intended departure from the Schengen Area
• At least 2 blank pages
• No alteration or handwritten amendment to the passport data page
• Copy of current passport data page
• Copy of last page
• Copies of previous visas and travel evidence
• Copies of previous Schengen visas and entry/exit stamps where applicable
Photograph
One recent ICAO-compliant colour photograph.
Size:
35 × 45 mm
Photo should comply with current Schengen/ICAO standards
Cover Letter
Mandatory.
The applicant's cover letter should clearly state:
• Purpose of travel
• Travel dates
• Duration
• Names of accompanying travellers
• Transport arrangements
• Accommodation details.
This is specifically required in the current Austrian Embassy India Tourism Checklist.
Flight / Transport Reservation
Mandatory.
Provide:
• Round-trip flight reservation
and
• Evidence of onward transport to Liechtenstein.
Because Liechtenstein does not have its own commercial international airport, the itinerary will normally involve travel through another Schengen country.
Examples may include:
• Flight + train
• Flight + bus
• Flight + rental car.
The official checklist requires airline reservation and proof of other means of travel within the Schengen/EU area for onward travel.
A paid/non-refundable airline ticket is not required merely to lodge the visa application. Austrian official guidance accepts a reservation or booking.
Accommodation
Mandatory.
Provide:
• Confirmed hotel reservation
OR
• Tour-organiser confirmation
OR
• Other appropriate accommodation documents.
For a Liechtenstein-focused application, Tripex should ensure that the itinerary contains genuine accommodation in Liechtenstein where that is the claimed main destination.
If staying in other Schengen countries as part of the journey, include accommodation for those destinations as well.
Travel Medical Insurance
Mandatory.
Minimum Coverage:
EUR 30,000
Insurance must:
• Be valid throughout the Schengen Area
• Cover the entire planned stay/transit
• Cover emergency medical expenses
• Cover hospitalisation
• Cover medical repatriation.
For a Multiple Entry Visa, appropriate insurance must at least cover the first intended journey, together with the applicable declaration regarding subsequent trips.
Financial Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate sufficient funds for:
• Accommodation
• Daily expenses
• Local transport
• Return/onward travel.
The current India Tourism Checklist does not publish a fixed Liechtenstein-specific minimum bank balance or daily amount.
Tripex should therefore not invent a daily financial figure.
The application should instead demonstrate credible financial capacity based on the itinerary and length of stay
Bank Statement
Mandatory.
Provide:
Original bank statements for the last 3 months
and/or other evidence of available funds.
Tripex should collect statements showing:
• Applicant's name
• Account number
• Transaction history
• Available balance
• Regular income where applicable.
Income Tax Returns
Mandatory for applicable applicants.
Current Tourism Checklist requires:
ITR with barcode for the last 2 years.
For Employed Applicants
Provide:
• Salary certificate / salary evidence for the last 3 months
• Employment contract
• Company NOC approving leave
• Official applicant or HR email address
• Last 3 months bank statements
• Barcode-verifiable ITR for last 2 years.
For Self-Employed Applicants

• Certificate of Incorporation
• Other applicable business-registration evidence
• Last 3 months bank statements
• Barcode-verifiable ITR for last 2 years.

• Proof of enrolment / registration in school, college or university
• Sponsor/parent financial documents where applicable.
For Retired Applicants
Provide:
• Pension statements for the last 3 months
and/or
• Proof of regular income from property or business.

The current checklist does not provide a separate unemployed-applicant category.
Tripex should collect:
• Sponsor letter where applicable
• Sponsor financial evidence
• Proof of relationship
• Applicant's available funds
• Evidence of family/social/economic ties to India.
Additional evidence may be requested by the Embassy.
Invitation Letter
Not required for ordinary independent hotel-based tourism.
If travelling for a private/family visit rather than tourism, a different visitor/sponsorship checklist should be used.
Biometrics
Required where applicable.
Applicants provide:
• 10 fingerprints
• Digital photograph.
Fingerprints previously collected for a Schengen application within the previous:
59 months
can generally be reused if still available in VIS.
Children below 12 years are exempt from fingerprint collection.

• Copies of parents' passports or IDs.

• Original notarised NOC from both parents/legal guardians
• Copies of parents'/guardians' passports or IDs.
