Mandatory.
Minimum Coverage:
EUR 30,000
Insurance must:
• Be valid for the complete intended stay

For applications from India, Lithuania specifically refers applicants to the approved list of Indian travel-insurance companies.

Lithuania's current official financial reference is:
EUR 50 per person per day
of the planned stay.
Examples:
5 days:
EUR 250
10 days:
EUR 500
15 days:
EUR 750
The EUR 50/day rule does not apply to a minor travelling together with an adult family member.
A formal electronic invitation submitted through MIGRIS can alternatively confirm accommodation and financial support for the traveller.
Bank Statement
Mandatory.
Lithuania's current India-specific checklist requires:
Original personal bank statements showing movements for the last 3 months
The statement must be:
• Stamped by the bank
• Signed by the bank.
