Travel to the Philippines Visa-Free for 14 Days with Tripex
• Indian ordinary passport holders can travel to the Philippines without a visa for tourism for up to 14 days.
• This visa-free facility became effective on 8 June 2025.
• The 14-day facility applies to tourism and permitted short business travel.
• The visitor must hold an Indian passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the contemplated stay in the Philippines.
• A confirmed hotel accommodation / hotel booking is required.
• Proof of financial capacity is required.
• A confirmed return or onward ticket to the next country of destination is required.
• The traveller must not have a derogatory record with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
• Visa-free admission is available through Philippine ports of entry, subject to immigration clearance.
• The 14-day stay cannot be extended.
• The 14-day visa-free admission cannot be converted into another visa or immigration category.
• Travellers planning to stay longer than the permitted visa-free period should obtain the appropriate Philippine visa instead of entering under the 14-day facility.
• Travellers entering for long-term study, employment, residence or other non-tourism/non-business purposes require the appropriate Philippine visa.
Passport Requirements:
• Valid Indian ordinary passport
• Passport must remain valid for at least 6 months beyond the contemplated stay.
Tripex Example:
If the intended stay ends on 15 December 2026, the passport should normally remain valid for at least 6 months beyond that date.
• Passport should be machine-readable and in good condition.
• Traveller should have sufficient space for Philippine Immigration entry/exit stamps.
Hotel / Accommodation:
Confirmed accommodation is specifically required for the standard 14-day visa-free facility.
Suitable accommodation evidence includes:
Hotel confirmation
Resort reservation
Apartment booking
Other verifiable commercial accommodation.
Tripex should collect accommodation covering the intended stay.
Return / Onward Ticket:
Mandatory.
The traveller must have a confirmed:
Return ticket to India
OR
Onward ticket to another destination.
If travelling onward, the traveller should also hold any visa or entry authorisation required for that destination.
Financial Capacity:
Mandatory.
The Philippine Government requires Indian travellers using the 14-day visa-free facility to demonstrate proof of financial capacity.
However, the Government does not publish one universal minimum bank-balance amount for Indian tourists.
Tripex should NOT invent a minimum balance.

IMPORTANT – eTravel Registration:
All travellers must complete the Philippines eTravel registration as part of border formalities.
The official eTravel system is:
FREE.
Registration can be completed within:
72 hours / 3 days before arrival.
The traveller should retain the generated eTravel QR code / confirmation and have it available before boarding and on arrival.
Only use the official Government eTravel website.
Do not pay unofficial websites for a Philippine eTravel registration.
IMPORTANT – 30-DAY VISA-FREE FACILITY FOR QUALIFYING INDIANS:
Indian passport holders can qualify for a longer visa-free stay of up to 30 days if they hold a valid and current visa OR permanent residence permit from one of the following:

Description:
Indian ordinary passport holders can visit the Philippines without obtaining a tourist visa for up to 14 days under the visa-free facility introduced on 8 June 2025. Travellers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay and carry confirmed accommodation, proof of financial capacity and a return or onward ticket.
The 14-day permission is non-extendible and cannot be converted into another immigration status. Indians holding a valid US, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen, Singapore or UK visa or residence permit may instead qualify for up to 30 days visa-free under the AJACSSUK arrangement.
All travellers must also complete the official Philippines eTravel registration within 72 hours before arrival. eTravel registration is free. Visa-free eligibility does not guarantee entry, as final admission remains with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
