2. Mandatory Documentation
Every applicant must provide these basic documents at their biometric appointment:
- Valid Passport: Must be valid for your entire stay in the UK and contain at least one blank page for stamping ).
- Online Application Form: A printed copy of your completed application checklist from the official UKVI portal.
- Visa Fee Payment: Proof of payment for the visa fee (currently £135 for a standard 6-month stay).
3. Financial & Income Evidence
Insufficient financial proof is the leading cause of visa refusals. You should provide:
- Bank Statements: Highly recommended to provide personal bank statements from the last 6 months showing a
- healthy, consistent balance and your regular income streams. Avoid sudden large deposits unless you have clear proof of their origin (e.g.,property sale or annual bonus).

5. Accommodation & Travel Details
- Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel bookings or an invitation letter from your UK host alongside proof of their legal status in the UK (e.g., passport copy or residence permit) and their utility/council tax bills.
- Travel Plan: A simple, realistic itinerary detailing your planned activities or milestones during your stay.
